About Us

Inspire Me Dog Training is proudly based in Clyde North, servicing Melbourne’s south-east, including the City of Casey, Cardinia Shire, Frankston City, and Greater Dandenong. We also work with clients across Kingston, Knox, Monash, the Mornington Peninsula, and parts of Gippsland (additional travel fees may apply for areas outside our core service region).

Our mission is simple: to provide professional, accessible, and results-driven dog training and behavioural support. We believe every dog owner deserves the knowledge and guidance to address unwanted behaviours and build a well-mannered companion. Rather than just training dogs, we empower owners with the skills, confidence, and understanding needed to become capable handlers and create strong, respectful relationships with their dogs.

At Inspire Me Dog Training, we follow LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) principles. This means we prioritise positive reinforcement and reward-based training methods that are both effective and humane, ensuring the wellbeing of your dog remains at the centre of everything we do.

Owner and operator Michelle is an accredited behavioural trainer through the National Dog Trainers Federation (NDTF). She has also completed additional studies in separation anxiety, reactivity, and aggression in dogs, giving her the expertise to work with a wide range of behavioural challenges.

Michelle’s journey into dog training began with her own rescue husky, Dakota, who came from a traumatic background. Through dedicated training and rehabilitation, Michelle developed a deep passion for helping rescue dogs overcome behavioural issues. What started as a personal mission soon grew into a professional calling—leading to the creation of Inspire Me Dog Training.

In addition to her training qualifications, Michelle holds a Certificate IV in Animal Management Regulation and Government Investigations and works as a qualified Animal Ranger. This background strengthens her ability to accurately read canine body language, assess behaviour, and develop practical, effective solutions tailored to each dog and owner.

Michelle shares her life with Odin, her Boxer and demo dog, who assists in training sessions, particularly in reactivity and aggression work. She has also welcomed Maverick, a Dutch Shepherd, into the Inspire Me family. With a strong passion for dog sports, Michelle regularly competes and achieves titles with her dogs.

With hands-on experience across a diverse range of breeds—from giant and mastiff types to working, herding, and hunting breeds, as well as smaller companions like Chihuahuas and Toy Poodles—Michelle brings a well-rounded, practical approach to every training session.
