Puppy Pre-School is designed for puppies aged from 8 to 16 weeks and is held at Clyde Veterinary Hospital, 1 Selandra Boulevard, Clyde North.
Puppy Pre-School at Clyde Vet is one of the most affordable and comprehensive programs in the area.
The puppy pre-school program content is designed and prepared by Inspire Me Dog Training.
Classes run weeknights from around 6pm and last for up to an hour.

Puppy Pre-School covers a large range of topics such as:
- Puppy etiquette and observing body language
- Socialisation and behaviour
- Behavioural issues (biting, jumping, destroying and stealing things)
- Equipment (collars, leads, harnesses and correct fitment)
- Care and nutrition
- Toilet training
- Environmental enrichment (mental stimulation – giving your puppy a job to do)
- Obedience training (release words, sit, drop, stand, recall, loose leash walking / heeling, place / mat training)
- Intro to basic agility
- Resource guarding
- Targeting
- Manual handling / vet checking
It is recommended you bring your puppy in a harness (for play) and also a collar (for training). Please also bring your puppy’s dinner (i.e. kibble mixed with Prime 100 rolls or ZiwiPeak / Prime Air raw air dried food) for obedience training.
Private puppy pre-school bookings at your home are also welcome and will cost the same as a private session or online session (price saving packages also available).
